Welcome to Fragments and Journeys
Sep 08, 2025
Every collage begins with a fragment — a torn page, a vintage print, a salvaged piece of paper that once lived another life. These fragments carry memory, texture, and history. When layered together, they become something new: a journey across time, culture, and emotion.
My work in collage art and mixed media is built on this very idea — that fragments can hold entire stories. Much of my inspiration comes from creating travel inspired artwork, especially during my time in the Middle East, where mosaics, city textures, and desert landscapes inform both material and meaning. Each piece I create becomes a form of Middle East inspired art, blending cultural echoes with my personal perspective.
This blog will be an extension of that practice — a place to share the stories behind my work, my travels, and the process of turning paper and texture into memory.
Here, I’ll share:
-

Stories from my journeys through the Middle East and beyond — the mosaics of Madaba, the vibrant streets of Amman, the quiet expanses of the desert.
 -

Behind-the-scenes glimpses into my studio process — how I choose materials, layer textures, and bring collages to life.
 -

Collector insights — conversations about art, design, and how collage can transform interiors and personal collections.
 -

Personal reflections — what inspires me, what challenges me, and how art continues to shape my journey.

I want Fragments & Journeys to feel like stepping into my studio and my suitcase at the same time: a space where memory, travel, and material come together to tell stories in paper and mixed media.
✨ Thank you for being here. I invite you to follow along, share your thoughts, and take part in this ongoing journey.
